How to prepare your home for severe weather
Each year, the country is hit with hurricanes, tornadoes, hailstorms, super storms, flooding, and more. Of course, you have insurance to help you recover. But knowing and doing a few things now—while the weather’s fair—can help you and your family stay safe and help you protect your property if the unexpected happens.
Here are a few things you should know before a storm hits:
1. The elevation level of your property—It’s a good idea to know your home’s elevation and prepare accordingly. FloodTools.com has some great tips for planning for a flood. And although you might not be able to prevent flood damage, you could take measures to avoid losing truly irreplaceable things.

Analysts say 25% of all jobs in North America were remote by the end of 2022, and remote opportunities are expected to grow again this year.

One of the many reasons we LOVE Cape Coral is the events that happen all year long. For example, this weekend the City of Cape Coral, Parks and Recreation, is proud to present Cape Coral Music and Arts Fusion Walk, Friday, March 10.
The City invites the community to enjoy a family-friendly showcase of local musicians and artists March 10, from 5 to 9 p.m., on SE 47th Terr., between Vincennes Blvd. and SE 15th Ave. This section of SE 47th Terr. will be blocked off to traffic starting at 3 p.m.
Artists, designers, and makers of high-quality, handmade, original work are invited to participate in the Cape Coral Music and Arts Fusion Walk.
